Seasons will be defined. Some teams will be virtually eliminated from contention while others will march on. There are plenty of Top Ten matchups, highlighted by the Florida A&M at Jackson State game on ESPNU. Will this be "Separation Saturday" for the 2024 season. October 11, 2024 | Atlanta, GA By A.D. Drew | Black College Sports Network Mid-term reports are being accumulated on all of the HBCU football teams. Some have met expectations! Some have room to improve! Some leave something to be desired! Some have over-achieve! Other are surprising. Wherever you favorite football team falls, action begins on Friday with a prime-time matchup on ESPN2. The road to Atlanta will begin to take shape on Saturday, in the SWAC, with a Western Division match-up featuring Alcorn State and Grambling State. The SIAC will only have one undefeated team after Albany State and Miles faceoff. And the CIAA? Enough said. Seven teams are in contention, but everyone is looking up at Johnson C. October 5, 2024 | Atlanta, GA By A.D. Drew | Black College Sports Network Hurricane Helene played havoc with the football schedule last week, forcing cancellations and postponements of contests. While some people in Georgia and the Carolinas continue to recover from the storm, the season marches ahead for our HBCU teams. The sexiest matchups, for this week, will occur at the NCAA Division II level, specifically in the CIAA, as there will be two Top-10 match-ups on Saturday. Other feature matchups include the Tuskegee-Morehouse Classic, the Gulf Coast Challenge, and a pair of homecoming games. Find your favorite game and click on the link to watch this week's action.

Drew | Black College Sports Network UPDATED Following the thrilling Edward Waters at Benedict game on ESPN2 on Thursday night, The Aggie-Eagle Classic may be the feature matchup of the 26 games that will be streamed or available on network TV this weekend. Other action includes the Down East Viking Classic, a cross-over matchup between the hottest HBCU football team in Clark-Atlanta traveling to Bethune-Cookman, and SWAC rivalries featuring Jackson State at Grambling or Southern at Prairie View. Unfortunately, the Chicago Football Classic will not be streamed. Here is where to watch the remainder of HBCU football action on Saturday.

With so many games available for the HBCU football fan, it will be tough fun to try to keep up and watch as many games as possible. During the FCS Week 1 and Division II Week 0, HBCU games will be featured on national platforms, such as the ACC Network, ESPN, the GRIO, NFL Network and the SEC Network, on streaming services such as FLO Sports and HBCU GO, and on conference sites such as the CIAA Network. BCSN Football Computer Rankings

The Black College Sports Network have named the North Carolina Central Eagles and the Benedict Tigers as their National Champions for the 2022 HBCU football season. A computer algorithm, created by the BCSN, has stated that the Eagles and the Tigers were tops in their Division I and Non-Division I categories of HBCU football teams.
