Ameshya Williams, a senior center from Gulfport, MS, had her fourth and fifth double-doubles, of eight games played this season, during the week. Williams opened the week against Alabama State with a 25 point, 23 rebound, 7 block performance against the Lady Hornets on Monday. Despite her efforts, Jackson State came up short versus Alabama State 72-70. On Saturday, in a game where Jackson State held Alcorn State to single digits in scoring during three of the four quarters played, Williams led the way with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks. This is Williams second consecutive BCSN Player of the Week honor.

Keaynna Tolbert, a junior guard from Orlando, FL, led the BCSN #2 Small Schools ranked Florida Memorial Lions to two victories at home this week. The wins were the first two at home for the Lady Lions on the season. Versus Sun Conference opponent, Thomas University, Tolbert had 16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in only 22 minutes of action. In another conference match-up, this time against the College of Coastal Georgia, Tolbert led Florida Memorial to victory with 35 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in 37 minutes of action. This is Tolbert's second consecutive BCSN Small Schools Player of the Week honor.
Ameshya Williams - Jackson State
Ameshya Williams, a 6'4" senior center from Gulfport, MS, had a double-double in SWAC action against Alabama A&M on this past Saturday. Williams scored 14 points with 18 rebounds as she led the Lady Tigers to a 64-56 victory over the BCSN #3 Large School Alabama A&M.
Keaynna Tolbert - Florida Memorial
Keaynna Tolbert, a 5'7" junior from Orlando, FL, scored 22 points, with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals as she led the BCSN #2 Small School ranked Lady Lions to a victory over Sun Conference rival Warner (FL).
Jayla Thornton - Howard
The senior guard from Newark, NJ scored 29 points, and chipped in 5 rebounds, and 2 steals while leading the Lady Bison to a victory versus Richmond in non-conference action. This is Thornton's 2nd player-of-the-week honor from the Black College Sports Network this season. For the season, she is averaging 17.2 points and 3.2 rebounds, per game.
Zakiya Mahoney - Mississippi Valley State
Mahoney led the Delta Devils to a 2-0 record on the week, while scoring two double-doubles. In a closely fought victory over Louisiana-Monroe, Mahoney poured in 17 points with 10 rebounds. She went a perfect 4/4 from the free throw line, while adding 2 assists, 1 block, and 2 steals. In Mississippi Valley's victory over Northwestern State, Mahoney followed up her performance with a 16 point, 13 rebound effort, while adding an assist and a steal.
Bryanna Brown - Lincoln (PA)
Two days after the announcement that their season would come to an end, due to the CIAA cancelling basketball because of COVID-19 concerns, the Lady Lions from Lincoln University took the floor against Delaware State Lady Hornets. As Lincoln controlled the game from the tip, Brown scored 18 points, pulled down 9 rebounds, and added 2 assists in the 72-55 victory.
