BCSN LARGE SCHOOL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - MEN/WOMEN 

All NCAA Division II and NAIA HBCU basketball teams did not play during the voting period of December 21 - December 27.  Players of the week were only chosen for NCAA Division I teams for the voting period.

Large Schools - Men

The senior guard from Buffalo, NY averaged 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals while leading the Pirates to a 2-0 record on the week, with both victories coming versus Charleston Southern in Big South action. In a win versus the Buccaneers on December 21, Warren scored 29 points with 8 rebounds while leading the Pirates to a 70-67 win. He followed up that performance, a day later, with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 5 steals in the 70-68 victory.

Large Schools - Women

The senior guard from Newark, NJ scored 29 points, and chipped in 5 rebounds, and 2 steals while leading the Lady Bison to a victory versus Richmond in non-conference action. This is Thornton's 2nd player-of-the-week honor from the Black College Sports Network this season. For the season, she is averaging 17.2 points and 3.2 rebounds, per game.
